Walnut Cream Cheese And Chocolate Cake

Here is a  delicious cake recipe which combines the softness of the cream cheese, the crunchiness of the walnuts, along with the luxury of the chocolate, to create a mouth watering experience. While surfing the internet I came across the recipe and right away found myself in the kitchen preparing the ingredients. Try it you'll like  it too, easy and most delicious with only 2 spoons of oil.


  • 1,5 cups (200 gr) flour
  • 1 cup (250 gr) cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup (150 gr) caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup (100 gr) chopped walnuts (coarsely)
  • 3/4 cup (75 gr) chopped chocolate (coarsely)
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

How To:

Beat the eggs with the sugar and the pinch of salt until foamy and white
Add the cream cheese and keep whisking. Add the flour and baking powder a little at the time until smooth.

Using  a wooden spoon, add the walnuts, oil and chocolate, mix well.
Grease an 18 inch mould with butter, dust with flour and pour the mixture evenly into it. Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 30 minutes. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
